Gel Krill is an ideal scent to place on trout lures when casting spoons, spinners or trolling stickbaits for brown, brook, rainbow, lake, cutthroat and golden trout. It's also effective when rubbed on lures, plastics, jigs or swimbaits that are casted or trolled for muskie, pike, bass, walleye, pickerel and other large gamefish.
It's also ideal for fly fishing. Adding a dab of Gel Krill underneath the hairs of your fly and on the hook can boost catch rates. For anglers targeting the panfish market, injecting Gel Krill underneath the skirt of your jigs and smearing it on the jig itself is ideal. Gel Krill is effective on perch as well.

When running Hot Shots, KwikFish, FlatFish or any plug, applying Gel Krill generously to the lure will decrease time between strikes as salmon and steelhead are heavy consumers of Krill. Gel Krill is also an effective saltwater scent. Tested by some of the top guides and outfitters in Alaska and up and down the West and East Coasts, Gel Krill is made to be smeared on jigs for halibut, rockfish and other saltwater fish. It's also a tool used to increase catch rates on salmon when using plug cut herring or employing artificial baits such as Apex, Hoochies and flashers.
